Technology

Coil Feeding System

Coil Feeding System

The Kohler coil processing line at Parkstory Manufacturing Kehl is a key component of our modern metalworking operations. It enables the efficient and automated processing of coiled metal strips (coils) into precision semi-finished products. During the process, coils are uncoiled in a controlled manner, precisely levelled and accurately transferred to downstream production stages such as punching or forming. Levelling the material reliably eliminates stresses, warping and deformations, resulting in a flat, high-quality strip. The added value: consistently high component quality, reduced material wastage and significantly more efficient mass production. Through continuous and automated process control, we increase productivity, process reliability and cost-effectiveness – a decisive advantage for demanding industrial applications.

2 Laser Cutting Systems

2 Laser Cutting Systems

Our two state-of-the-art laser cutting systems are a key part of our precision sheet metal fabrication capabilities. They enable highly accurate, cost-effective cutting of sheet metal for both prototype and series production. Using CNC-controlled technology and digital CAD data, even complex geometries can be produced with exceptional precision, minimal distortion, and virtually burr-free edges, reducing downstream processing. With no tool-related setup times, economical production is possible even for small batch sizes. Seamlessly integrated into our manufacturing process, the laser systems provide the ideal foundation for downstream operations such as press braking, welding, and assembly for customers in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, metal fabrication, and the automotive industry.

3-Metre CNC Press Brake

3-Metre CNC Press Brake

The new 3-metre CNC press brake from DURMA expands Parkstory Manufacturing Kehl’s capabilities in precision sheet metal fabrication. Designed for accurate bending and forming, it delivers exceptional repeatability and efficiency, particularly for medium-sized components and high-mix production. Advanced CNC controls ensure precise and repeatable bending angles, positions, and sequences, supporting consistent quality in both single-part and series production. Seamlessly integrated into our in-house manufacturing process, the press brake enables flexible, cost-efficient production from laser cutting and metal forming through to the finished component. The result: shorter lead times, greater production flexibility, and consistently high quality for customers in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, metal fabrication, and the automotive industry.

6-Metre CNC Press Brake

6-Metre CNC Press Brake

The 6-metre CNC press brake at Parkstory Manufacturing Kehl enables the precision forming of large-format sheet metal components and is a key part of our advanced sheet metal fabrication capabilities. Its extended bending length allows long and complex parts to be manufactured with exceptional accuracy, making it ideal for demanding applications in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, metal fabrication, and the automotive industry. Whether supplied as cut-to-size blanks or processed directly from our automated coil feeding system, sheet metal is bent and formed with millimetre precision to achieve the required geometry. Advanced CNC controls and drive technology ensure outstanding dimensional accuracy, process reliability, and consistent repeatability across all production volumes. By seamlessly integrating into our in-house manufacturing process, the 6-metre press brake supports efficient production from coil processing and laser cutting through to final forming and assembly. The result is maximum flexibility, cost-effective production, short lead times, and consistently high quality for both prototype and series manufacturing projects.

CNC Turning Centers

CNC Turning Centers

The CNC lathes at Parkstory Manufacturing Kehl are a key component of our precision-oriented machining operations and perfectly complement our production process, from sheet metal working through to the finished assembly. In CNC turning, the workpiece rotates whilst a computer-controlled tool removes material in a targeted manner. Based on CAD/CAM data, even complex rotationally symmetrical geometries can thus be produced with precision and reproducibility, with high repeatability and tight tolerances. A wide variety of materials are machined, such as steel, aluminium or stainless steel, for components such as shafts, bushings or precision parts. Automated processes reduce machining times and ensure efficient production. The added value: high-precision, cost-effective production of turned parts, tailored to the requirements of mechanical engineering, plant engineering, metalworking and the automotive industry.

Automated Robotic Welding Systems

Automated Robotic Welding Systems

The three state-of-the-art welding robots at Parkstory Manufacturing Kehl are a key part of our automated metal fabrication and assembly processes. They ensure precise, cost-effective, and repeatable welding for both individual components and series production. Using advanced programming and sensor technology, the robots produce consistently high-quality welds across a wide range of parts and production volumes. This ensures maximum repeatability, reduced error rates, and increased manufacturing efficiency. Seamlessly integrated into our in-house production chain, the robotic welding systems support downstream processes such as press braking and assembly, delivering reliable results for customers in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, metal fabrication, and the automotive industry.
